Youth club

Our youth club aims to bring together local children from a wide array of backgrounds and ethnicities. We meet every Friday of the year in the Main Hall, between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm for a time of fun, cooking, craftwork, sports, companionship, electronic games … the list is enormous, and changes every week! The youth club attracts about 15–30 children during term-time, and generally a smaller number during the school holidays.

Almost all the children are of Junior-School age (years 3–6 inclusive).

All our staff and volunteers have a full CRB disclosure. The parents of all the children depicted above gave their permission for these images to be shown on this website.

The Youth Club is run by staff seconded from the Oldham Play Action Group (OPAG), and open to children of Junior-School age. Entrance costs 50p per child. For more details, please contact either Jill Griffiths on (07983) 444 189 or Revd Dr Paul Monk on (0161) 624 7708.

The principal funder of our youth club is the Big Lottery Fund.
