Service for the second Sunday of Advent starting at 9:30 am

Service of Holy Communion

We ask that no one should attend if they have underlying health conditions, have Covid-like symptoms, or are otherwise in a shielding category.

To avoid transmitting the coronavirus, we practise social distancing. We ask that everyone over 12 years of age wears a face mask unless they have underlying health issues.

Annual Carol Service starting at 6:00 pm

A traditional Carol Service, accompanied by the Tame Valley Brass. All are welcome.

This service is shared with our sister Churches in Churches Together in East Oldham.

We ask that no one should attend if they have underlying health conditions, have Covid-like symptoms, or are otherwise in a shielding category.

Friday 24 December 2021

Annual Crib Service starting at 4:00 pm at our sister Church of Holy Trinity, Waterhead (OL4 2JQ).

A service of magic and candlelight, soft voices, and the anticipation of a joy-filled Christmas.

A different and entertaining recreation of the Christmas story starting at 4:00 pm. Please dress as one of the characters from the story.

We practise social distancing.

Service of Midnight Mass, starting at 11:30 pm at our sister Church of Holy Trinity, Waterhead (OL4 2JQ)

A traditional It feels like the world has stopped. There is no sound but the expectancy of waiting for Christmas. And we assemble in the hushed beauty of Holy Trinity Church, awaiting the birth of our Lord and Saviour in a manger.

Midnight Mass is a traditional service of great joy and wonder.

Owing to the Covid pandemic, we may need to practise social distancing and wear face covering.

Celebration of our Lord’s birth, starting at 9:30 am

Service of Holy Communion

We ask that no one should attend if they have underlying health conditions, have Covid-like symptoms, or are otherwise in a shielding category.

The following events will occur when our schedule returns to normal (when the pandemic is over).
Please be aware that some events will resume sooner than others. All services will occur in the Church and all other events will occur in the Parish Hall, unless stated otherwise.

Usual Tuesdays

10:00 am: Mid-week Eucharist.

A simple said Eucharist (Common Worship).

Usual Wednesdays

9:00 am: Scripture breakfast.

We start with a short passage of scripture for intelligent discussion, then prayers. We conclude with breakfast.
