All services occur in the Church and all other events occur in the Parish Hall, unless stated otherwise.

Sunday 22 April

9:30 am: Service for the Third Sunday of Easter.

Monday 23 April

10:00 am — 12:00 noon: Community Café and Job Club, in the Main Hall. 

10:00 am — 12:00 noon: Hearts and Crafts — craftwork led Audra Walsh for people with mental disabilities.


2:30 pm: Prayers, in the vestry.

Tuesday 24 April

10:00 am: Holy Communion.

A said service according to Common Worship.

Wednesday 25 April

9:00–10:00 am: Scripture breakfast in the Parish Room.

We start with a short passage of scripture for discussion, then prayers. We conclude with a good cooked breakfast.

Drop-in for female substance users.

Entry costs 50p per child.

Sunday 29 April

9:30 am: Service for the Fifth Sunday of Easter.

The Church holds it’s Annual Parochial Church Meeting straight after this service, startng at about 10:45 am. All are welcome.

Thursday 10 May

10:00 am: said Eucharist for Ascension Day. All are welcome.

Sunday 20 May

9:30 am: service in Church for Whit Sunday.

2:00 pm: service in the Elim Fountain of Hope Chuch Waterhead Church, then a walk via Ash Square to St Barnabas Church starting at about 2:30 pm, and arriving at about 3:15 pm for a good barbecue.

Saturday 26 May

7:30 pm: Quiz night at our sister Church of Holy Trinity Waterhead (OL4 2JH).

Expect a good quiz, good company, good food and an exceptional. The entrance fee of£5 includes a good supper.

Friday 1 June

7:00 pm: Confirmation service.

We are joined by the Rt Revd Mark Davies, Bishop of Middleton.

Saturday 9 June

7:30 pm: Midsummer Music at our sister Church of Holy Trinity Waterhead (OL4 2JH).

We are joined by the fantastic Soul Inspiration Gospel Choir and the talented Tame Valley Brass Ensemble.

The entrance fee of£5 includes a good supper.

Sunday 16 December

6:00 pm: Carol Service. All the magic of Christmas wrapped into one service.

Our traditional carol service includes all your favourite carols, and is joined by the Soul Inspiration Gospel Singers and the Tame Valley Brass Ensemble.

Monday 24 December

4:00 pm: Chrstingle service. An electric sense of anticipation fills a hushed and expectant Church.

Monday 24 December

11:30 pm: The air hangs heavy with the mystery of the how ‘The word became flesh and dwelt among us’.

A traditional service of Midnight Mass at our sister Chruch of Holy Trinity, Waterhead (OL4 2JQ).

Tuesday 25 December

9:30 am: Christmas Day An explosion of joy as we celebrate our Lord’s birth and incarnation. Includes a Eucharist and carols.
