All services occur in the Church and all other events occur in the Parish Hall, unless stated otherwise.

9:30 am: Service for Bible Sunday

10:00 am — 2:00 pm: Community Café and Job Club, in the Main Hall.

10:00 am — 12:00 noon: Hearts and Crafts — craftwork led Audra Walsh for people with mental disabilities.

Tuesday 24 October

10:00 am: Mid-week Eucharist (said according to the form in Common Worship).

Wednesday 25 October

9:00–10:00 am: Scripture breakfast in the Parish Room.

We start with a short passage of scripture for discussion, then prayers.

We conclude with a good cooked breakfast.

9:30 am: Servicefor All Saints’


2:00 pm: Commoration of the Faithful Departed (“All Soul’s Day”).

During the service, we remember everyone who has died in the past few years, and has an association with the Church and its people.

9:30 am — 12:30 pm: Free Youth Breakfast in the Church Hall. Also includes craftwork.

11:30 am— 1:00pm: Free Family Fun Day

The Oldham Play Action Group (OPAG) return to our sister Church of for another free family fun day — a session of fun and craft. We meet in the Parish Hall (OL4 2JQ).

Includes free food.

Saturday 4 November

4:30 pm: Guy Fawkes barbecue.

Good, free food and a lantern parade.

7:30 pm: A good Quiz Night at our sister Church of Holy Trinity Waterhead, in their Parish Hall on Waterworks Road (OL4 2JQ).

Entry cost £5 per adult, which includes supper.

9:15 am: Service for Remembrance Sunday (please note the earlier starting time).

Saturday 25 November

11:00 am — 1:00 pm: this year’s Christmas Fair has a Highland flavour. We meet in the refurbished Parish Hall on Waterworks Road (OL4 2JQ).

7:00 pm: Service to prepare for the start of Advent.

A Churches Together event, which takes place in our sister Church of Holy Trinity, Waterhead (OL4 2JQ).

We will join our friends from Waterhead, Greenacres Congregational Church, and Elim Fountain of Hope Church. All are welcome.

10:15 am: Retreat to prepare for Advent.

We meet at Moorside Church (OL1 4SJ). We end the retreat with a short, quiet Eucharist.

9:30 am: Toy Service

During the service, we donate toys which we give to the Wood Street Mission in central Manchester.

Saturday 16 December

2:30 pm: Messy Christingle

We start with craftwork in the Hall. A short service follows in the Church.We then retuen to the Hall for good Christmas food.

accompanied by the Tame Vallley Brass and the Soul Inspiration Gospel Choir.

9:30 am: Christmas Day service
