Services and events
All services occur in the Church and all other events occur in the Parish Hall, unless stated otherwise.

Monday 10 December

We have closed the community café until further notice.


Tuesday 11 December

10:00 am: Holy Communion.

A said service according to Common Worship.

Wednesday 12 December

9:00–10:00 am: Scripture breakfast in the Parish Room.

We start with a short passage of scripture for intelligent discussion, then prayers. We conclude with a good cooked breakfast.

Friday 14 December

There is no Youth club this week owing to a different booking. in the Main Hall.

Entry costs 50p per child.

Sunday 16 December

9:30 am: service for the Third Sunday of Advent. All are extremely welcome.

Monday 24 December

4:00 pm: Chrstingle service. An electric sense of anticipation fills a hushed and expectant Church. The service includes a traditional blessing of the crib.

Monday 24 December

11:30 pm: The air hangs heavy with the mystery of the how ‘The word became flesh and dwelt among us’.

A traditional service of Midnight Mass at our sister Chruch of Holy Trinity, Waterhead (OL4 2JQ).

Tuesday 25 December

9:30 am: Christmas Day.

An explosion of joy as we celebrate our Lord’s birth and incarnation. Includes a Eucharist and carols.

Monday 31 December

7:30 pm: New Year’s Eve party.

We include family entertainment, DJ, music, dancing, games, food, refreshments and a good bar that's open until late.

Cost = £6 for adults and £3 for children.

We convene at Waterhead Parish Hall, OL4 2JL.


Saturday 5 January 2019

5:00–7:00 pm: Knit and natter.

A relaxed opportunity to meet new people and to learn new craftwork skills.

Saturday 2 March

10:15 for 10:30 am: Quiet Day

We start with a series of simple meditations and concludes with a simple and holy Eucharist.

The quiet day occurs in Holy Trinity Church (OL4 2JQ).

A Churches Together in East Oldham event.
